DepEd Secretary Luistro Honors BPI’s Ten Outstanding Expat Pinoy Children for 2010

Education Secretary Armin Luistro will lead this year’s awarding ceremonies of the Bank of the Philippine Islands’ (BPI) 2010 Ten Outstanding Expat Pinoy Children Awards.  The event will be held on November 8 at the Intercontinental Hotel in Makati. BPI’s Search for Ten Outstanding Overseas Filipino children aims to instill the importance of education among the youth and show appreciation for the sacrifices made by Expat Pinoys working abroad in an aim to give their children and families a better life. In its 4th year, the Search heightened the competition with the newly launched categories, joining the annual Ibang Klaseng Talino award, namely, Ibang Klaseng Entrepreneur, Ibang Klaseng Athlete, and Ibang Klaseng Community Leader awards.
