The Chartered Financial Analyst institute rings the bell of stock exchanges worldwide to jumpstart the month-long celebration of the Institute’s 50 years of CFA charter legacy. The CFA Society of the Philippines, celebrating its 15 years of charter legacy in the Philippines, leads the closing bell ceremony at the Philippine Stock Exchange Plaza in Makati City. The worldwide ceremony was also participated by 25 countries across the globe.
The Philippine rendition of the ceremonial ringing of the bell was led by Ms. April Lynn Lee-Tan, CFA, CFA Philippines President, and Mr. Hans B. Sicat, PSE President. Several charterholders in the country joined the momentous event.
“The ringing of the bell at the Philippine Stock Exchange is our tribute to the Society’s 15 fruitful years in the Philippines. We are grateful that Philippine Stock Exchange, Inc. allowed us to demonstrate this milestone in the CFA Institute and CFA Philippines,” says April Lynn Lee – Tan, CFA, CFA Philippines President. “After 15 years, our mission remains and that is to help shape an investment industry that serves the greater good by improving the transparency of capital markets. We do this through adopting standardized performance measurements and training charterholders to apply proper ethical behavior and to demonstrate only the highest level of professional integrity,” adds Ms. Tan.
