BPI opens new remittance center in Madrid
Madrid, Spain – Overseas Filipino Workers stationed in Spain can now enjoy a smooth and easy way of sending remittances to loved ones in the Philippines as Bank of the Philippine Islands opens its latest Remittance Overseas Office in Madrid, Spain. The new remittance center is located at No. 4 Calle General Margallo, Madrid.

To celebrate the opening of its new Madrid office, BPI held an inauguration ceremony graced by Philippine Consul General Celia Anna M. Feria, select staff from the Philippine Embassy in Madrid, leaders from the Filipino community and a handful of excited OFWs.

To send money to the Philippines, OFWs can just drop by the BPI Madrid remittance center and fill out the remittance application form. The remitters may send money via direct credit to account, the fastest and safest way to send money straight to their beneficiary’s BPInoy, BPI, BPI Family Bank or BPI Direct account. The money will be received within 24 hours and the remitter may immediately withdraw it from any of BPI’s 1,500 ATMs throughout the Philippines. BPI also offers other modes of remittance transactions such as branch pick-up, door-to-door delivery or bank to bank.
The BPI Remittance Overseas Office in Madrid is a subsidiary of Bank of the Philippine Islands. It is the second branch to open in Spain and one of 20 offices located in the U.S., Europe, and Asia. These facilities serve as overseas extensions of the bank and are licensed to operate as remittance centers.
