BPI's Search for 10 Outstanding Expat Pinoy Children 2009 Awardees

Ten exceptional children of Overseas Filipinos were cited among the Ten Outstanding Expat Pinoy Children from the Bank of the Philippine Islands. First initiated by BPI’s Overseas Banking Group in 2007, the Search for Outstanding Expat Pinoy Children aims to honor both Expat Pinoy parent and children.

“The 2009 Ten Outstanding Expat Pinoy Children can serve as an inspiration to the Filipino youth. Here is a group of teenagers who have lived apart from one or both of their parents for long periods and yet, they have shown excellence in academics and genuine desire to be model Filipino citizens,” says Teresita B. Tan, BPI SVP and Group Head of Overseas Banking and Channels Services Group.

Chosen for their dedication to excellence, the winners for 2009 are (L-R) Lean Angelo A. Silverio (UST), Nikko Jones G. Servanio (John B. Lacson Foundation Maritime University); Maris Cay E. Gabornes (UP-Visayas Tacloban College); Daryl K. Del Rosario (ADMU); ); Alyanna N. Cunanan (UST); Jordan C. Cabandong (FEU); Jezza May A. Boquilon (UP-Diliman); Jirah Cortes Armandico (Trinity University of Asia); Armando G. Araneta, Jr. (John B. Lacson Foundation Maritime University); and Kennie Kabeen A. Alegno (UST).
