For the fourth time, the Asia Pacific Association for Fiduciary Studies (APAFS) will conduct its prestigious annual Pacific Region Investment Conference (PRIC) in Manila later this year. The PRIC is a highly-esteemed investment conference where financial executives and professionals as well as members of fiduciary institutions converge to learn from world-class experts and gain regional understanding of current economic issues.

This year’s conference is the 9th PRIC APAFS has organized since it was founded in 2000. The premier association for fiduciary education considers the Philippines as the best venue for the 2009 investment conference.

Daniel Roland, CIMA, the Executive Director of APAFS explains, “Manila is the ideal venue for the PRIC because of the Philippines’ strategic location in the region. It is a central place where delegates from countries such as Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Guam, and Indonesia can meet.”

A number of key global players in the financial industry have already pledged their support for the upcoming conferences, such as Income Research & Management, Metropolitan West Capital Management, Atalanta Sosnoff Capital, Citi Smith Barney, Davis Hamilton & Jackson Associates, Fisher Investments Institutional Group, Louis Boulanger Now Ltd/ BMG Bouillion Bars, Franklin Templeton Institutional, Milliman, Inc., Robeco Investment Management, Capital Institutional Services, and Nicholas Applegate Capital Management.

The 9th PRIC is slated to be held in October this year. For updates, inquiries and interested parties, log on to www.apafs.org.
